TransTools+ configuration

You can configure the behavior of TransTools+ in several ways:

Tool-specific settings

  1. Most tools have a configuration button located on the tool's panel:
    Tool configuration button
You can use this button to configure tool-specific settings.
  2. Many tools rely on configuration profiles, e.g. Pre-flight Checker, Dual Language Document Assistant, etc. You need to update a profile in order to modify the behavior of the tool. Modifying the behavior of a tool is as easy as selecting a different profile from the profile list. Profiles can be duplicated, making it easy to perform ad-hoc tasks.
  3. Search-based tools, e.g. Multiple Find & Replace, Highlighting Tool (Apply Highlighting command) or Hide / Unhide Text (in Text Search mode), use configurable search expressions lists.

This allows you to switch to the active tool if you are working on text in the main Word window and is especially helpful for visually impaired users. By default, this shortcut is set to None.
To modify the keyboard shortcut, click the Modify... button which will display the keyboard shortcut configuration window:
