Term Morphology Editor v.2.0: morphology suggestions from OpenAI, full compatibility with the latest updates in Phrase TMS, high DPI support, and more

June 17, 2024

Term Morphology Editor v.2.0 has been released.

This is a major upgrade to Term Morphology Editor which will enable you to prepare term bases faster, more efficiently and in more languages thanks to its support of the OpenAI service. You can use the AI prompt included with the application or update this prompt for better results. You can also test how changes in the prompt's wording affect morphology suggestions.

In addition, the application has been updated for full compatibility with the latest versions of memoQ and Phrase TMS (e.g., to support the latest changes in Phrase TMS Excel termbase format), high DPI support, Morpher's support of Kazakh language, and several other features.

To install Term Morphology Editor v.2, download the installation program from the Download page.
If you have already installed Term Morphology Editor version 1, it is recommended to uninstall it before installing Version 2.
The two versions cannot be used side-by-side. So, by installing version 2 you will no longer be able to use version 1. However, version 2 and version 1 are compatible with each other so all term morphology suggestions saved while using the previous version will continue to work after the upgrade.

For the full list of improvements in this version, see the Version History page.
