Just like any drawings, Visio files often contain a lot of repetitive information. An organisation chart, an engineering drawing or simply an updated version of a Visio file – they all contain repetitions or text that you translated before. TransTools for Visio's replacement commands offer you a new workflow for working with Visio files.
How it works?
TransTools for Visio contains two special commands: Collect Unique Text and Multiple Replace. The first command extracts the text of each individual shape present in a Visio drawing, and provides an Excel spreadsheet, or replacement list, for you to translate. The second command uses the translated replacement list to overwrite the text in the drawing, providing you with a translated version of the drawing.
Replacement commands work especially well when combined with CAT software.
